About
Designer from Bombay, living in Seattle
I'm a fan of interfaces that are useful, snappy, and made by someone who cared enough. I try to bring that same standard to everything I make.
Currently, I'm at Amazon working on designing Search experiences across the Kindle ecosystem. Over the last two years, I led the redesign of Kindle's visual foundations across iOS and iPadOS, rethinking the design language, building out a new icon library and laying the groundwork for a design system that scales across millions of readers. My fingerprints are all over the Kindle apps.
Before Amazon, I spent several years at Bose building digital experiences — some shipped to millions of people, some got killed before they saw daylight. Bose is where I learned to think in systems and to care about the details that most people never consciously notice but always feel.
Outside of work
I'm drawn to things that require patience. I run and bike long distances, have played soccer for over 20 years, and spend some time on the piano.
I read a lot (I work at Kindle!). I'm trying to catalog the books I've read and want to read here.
